Wavestone Sculpture
Wavestone specializes in the production of artificial rock environments and play sculptures made in concrete. We service both residential and commercial clients.
Owner and lead artist, Trent Hutton is a Canadian sculptor known for monolithic concrete works with a focus on natural imagery. Using a variety of construction-based materials, he’s created large-scale public art, designer environments and sculptural features for public institutions, corporate clients and private collectors in Canada, the United States, Cayman Islands and Trinidad.
Born in Edmonton in 1977, Trent first began sculpting concrete environments in Whistler, British Columbia in 2002. He went on to hone his self-taught skills and study advanced sculpting techniques at various studios in Toronto.
To service a growing number of residential and commercial clients on the west coast, he moved to metro Vancouver in 2004 and established his company, Wavestone Sculpture.

Wavestone works with designers, architects, contractors and developers to create incredible sculptural features. Interpreting design concepts, providing feedback and assisting to inform the work is our strongest asset. We welcome collaboration projects and corporate commissions.
